It’s ORC Season and the design community is HYPE! Over the next 8 weeks myself and hundreds maybe more designers will be taking over the IG, TikTok, and Blog interwebs. We’ll be exposing you all to the wondrous spaces we will be transforming and sharing all the details. The beauty of the ORC is the community. Because after a few weeks when the initial design plans go south, the energy wains, and life begins LIFEING… its the community of participants and fans cheering us on that reminds us to keep pushing to the finish.

If you’re new here, this is my SECOND run with the One Room Challenge. For a little nostalgia check out the powder room we transformed during Spring 2021 ORC season. I still tinkle (LOL) a little JOY every time I go in there!

OK… so a little about my project THIS round…It came down to the wire but I FINALLY decided what space @mpbdesignco will be doing for our second run of the One Room Challenge!

We’re helping a friend transform their son’s bedroom he’s had over 7 years into a room fit for the young man he is becoming! So, follow along as we bring on the youthful but mature vibes.

Make sure to for the next 8 weeks. Oh did I mention, its actually FOUR weeks because I only have access to the space every OTHER WEEK! (Revert to above when I said this is why the ORC community is the special sauce, because I’m already starting behind).

Everything in this space will be redone with the exception of the carpets, doors, and window. That means new: paint, bed, bedding, lighting, wall covering, window coverings…and more fun!
